ïîäïèñàòüñÿSix years ago, students and professors of the International College for Arts and Communications (MKIK) launched the Global Talents project. At that time, we did not even expect that the website would unite 30000 schoolchildren from all over Russia and receive the Runet Award.
Students who participated in the concept development and the launching of the site have already graduated from MKIK. Working on the project, they gained a lot of experience and skills that helped them find employment.
They passed their Internet portal to the next generation of students who continue to support the site with competitions, podcasts, webinars, news, and special projects.
The main achievements in six years of the web-portal’s operation include mentions in the federal and regional media, gratitude from the President of the Russian Federation, triple grant receiving, the release of unique special projects in cooperation of students and schoolchildren, four Patrium Summer Schools, central TV stories, and, of course, RunetAward in the nomination ‘Children’s Runet’.
We congratulate all those involved in the project on its birthday and remind that it is not just an important social initiative but also a great platform for development of professional qualities.
It’s never too late to join the project. Become mentors for talented children and do what’simportant and interesting.
