The Design College of MKIK trains specialists in two directions: graphic design and interior design.
From the first year of their training, students create design projects, exhibit works at the IGUMO Gallery and at the Days of Contemporary Art (DOCA) international festival, participate in artists’ workshops, and attend practical classes. That helps them develop skills in project activities and public speaking, learn to work with graphic editors, and build a portfolio.
Each student creates at least 13 professional projects during his or her studies. Those include graphic posters, videos, websites, and interior design projects.
The training at the College combines modern education models and an academic approach.
A significant part of the educational programme is devoted to studying professional software: Adobe (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier Pro), 3ds Max, and AutoCAD.
