AN EXCURSION INTO RUSSIAN CULTURE
The Institute for the Humanities and Information Technologies (IGUMO IT) is a privately owned organization founded in 1992 which is open throughout the year and in summer it caters for the educational needs of students from different countries. IGUMO IT is recognized by the Russian Ministry for Education. The Institute is known for the quality of its courses and ultimate responsibility in training. It provides a warm welcome to all students and retains an atmosphere of safety and tranquility.
Our guest-students are ensured of maximum integration with Russian people, Russian customs and the Russian way of life. We offer you the opportunity both to study and to use the Russian language in its country of origin and to become part of it and sensitive to a multi-cultural, multi-national experience.
Moscow offers a variety of entertainments including traditional Russian restaurants, pavement cafes, fun parks, fairs, live music, cinema, theatre, disco and many other things.
All our teachers are native speakers of Russian and are specially trained in the teaching of Russian as a foreign language. They are responsible for the selection of the teaching materials used in class and are constantly researching and developing new materials incorporating computer assisted learning and audio-visual aids.
We are sure you will have an enjoyable stay, improve your Russian and catch a tantalizing glimpse of Russian culture. At IGUMO IT we aim to make your time with us a time to remember.
When you study at IGUMO IT you can stay at a hotel next to the Institute. In the heart of the Moscow Eastern Area, local cafes and restaurants are within easy reach. Shopping in Izmaylovo is only a 10 minutes bus ride away and the Izmaylovo Kremlin is a 15 minutes’ walk away.
