On April, 20th, 2011 the IGUMO delegation arrived in Budapest to take part in an important conference devoted to the tendencies of the development of higher school in Europe. In the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Moscow is considered to be a large and powerful education and research centre due to its deep-rooted and time-honoured traditions in Russian education.
While discussing and solving the problems of the Russian and European education the participants of the conference subjected to thorough analysis the experience of the world's best institutions of higher education. As the analysts say, it is private institutions of higher education that create real competitiveness, because they are sincerely concerned about their self-development, and thus grow safe from stagnation.
Our European colleagues highly appreciated the efforts of IGUMO, to be precise, they think that IGUMO is an efficient Institute with a high degree of organisation which is capable of not only integrating education and science in compliance with the needs of society and business, but also it is capable of implementing great international education and research projects.
The IGUMO delegation led by M.V.Volykina, Rector of IGUMO, Prof., PhD (Law), had the following members – V.I.Soloviov, Deputy Rector for Innovation Development Projects, Prof.; G.N.Gumovskaya, Deputy Rector for International Projects, Prof.; the deans of such departments as Department of Economics and Management, the Sociology and PR Department, the Department of Journalism, the Department of Foreign Languages, and other officials and specialists of IGUMO.
That was the seventh international conference with such imposing representatives from IGUMO. It’s well known that the broadening of horizons is of initial importance for the process of development.
In the course of the conference its participants had several meetings devoted to such subjects as the key factors of success, a system of higher education, in general, and private institutions, in particular. Within the framework of the circular table the Russian delegation presented the analysis of the State and Private institutions of higher education.
It is pleasant for us to state a fact that the Institute for the Humanities and IT has evident advantages compared to other members of the Education Services market.
