The period of summer examinations is a finishing spurt for every Institute graduating student. The State Final Examinations are in the past and thereby the IGUMO fifth-year students have already overcome the first difficulties. At the majority of the Institute Departments the full-time students are most progressive. For example, 60% of the Psychology graduators got «excellent» and the rest – «good» marks. The graduators of the Department of Law and the Department of Foreign Languages were equal to the occasion as well, and by the way they passed two examinations. The linguists of the IGUMO College brought happiness to our professors by their excellent answers. The graduators of the Department of Economics were convincing as well.
The first full-time graduates of the Department of Informational Technologies have demonstrated the high level of their knowledge as well.
Examination is an academic form of knowledge test. Only those students whose knowledge is systemized and summed up through the whole period of education can get the best marks.
It is high time for the students to defend their graduation projects. As a rule the students’ investigations of the half-time and evening Departments prove to be more fundamental and their defence usually is more convincing thanks to the fact that they put theoretical knowledge into practice.
