In the Institute for the Humanities and IT the project aimed at professionalizing the students of the Advertising and PR Department has been launched. It will be realized according to the specially developed schedule of IGUMO Business Center headed by Professor E. Ribokene.
The IGUMO Business Center is a job-oriented platform created for practical competence and skills formation for the students of the Advertising and PR Department who specialize in «Public relations» and «Advertisement». The job-oriented training of the students fr om the 1st through the 4th year is supposed to provide students with priceless practical experience, to develop their professional competence, to elevate a technique of business communication, to improve the relations between the structural sectors of an organization, to acquire skills of making administrative decisions in a certain sphere.
The integration of theory and practice is not a one day question, that is why job-oriented training is a hierarchical structure wh ere each next step is determined by the previous one.
The creation of a serious practical platform on which not abstract but quite real tasks are completed during classes. The efficiency of the IGUMO Business Center activity is provided with five main modules. The first three are developed for full-fledged assimilation of practical skills. According to the last two modules the Business Center not only provides students with practical training but enables them to earn their first money in their professional field.
The creation of job-oriented platforms is the aim of all leading higher educational institutions in Russia. But not all were able to overcome the limit. Great desire and wish alone are not enough to introduce into educational process the competence-like approach declared by the Educational Standards of new generation, but also a new base and a new technique. IGUMO possesses all that.
IGUMO: responsibility in education, innovative technologies in education.
