At the Institute for the Humanities and IT the students are taking their last exams and their quantity is quite great. At the IGUMO Training Theatre the young actors are playing their graduation performances. The emotional tension of the last days gives way to the feeling of relief because the summer examinations have brought more positive than negative results and emotions.

More than 400 National Higher Education Diplomas are ready to be awarded. The large majority of the Institute graduating students proved to be young qualified specialists.

The graduating students of the full-time Psychology Department, the Department of Journalism, the students of the Department of Law, both Civil Law and Criminal Law Chairs, showed their professionalism, competence and knowledge defending their graduation projects. The graduates of the Department of Economics showed their good level of training as well. The Graduation Project Defence of the first full-time graduating students of the Department of Information Technologies was equal to the occasion. The high results of the final attestation were also registered at the Department of Foreign Languages. The graduates of the Institute College showed their social maturity and deep professional knowledge as well. The majority of students of the College group decided to continue their study at the Institute for the Humanities and IT to get high-quality Higher Education.

By the way, this academic year schoolchildren have a good opportunity to enter not only the College of Foreign Languages but also the College of the IT, Economy, Law, and Journalism Departments.

The examination session of the intermediate courses went in its normal mode but the first-year students of the Department of Economics haven’t shown good progress and were out of a tune. It should be said that the first year of study at the Institute is a very serious and difficult period and not everyone is prepared for it. Nevertheless most of the students are able to get good experience from the first exams, not hoping for a miracle.

It is well-known that the professors of IGUMO don’t conclude a bargain with their conscience for the sake of statistics. The motto «Ultimate Responsibility in Education» at the Institute for the Humanities and IT obliges the Staff to give maximum knowledge and to train real professionals adapted for the real life.
