In March, the Institute for the Humanities and Information Technologies (IGUMO) launched digital illustration classes by Vladimir Demyanovsky, lecturer of the Faculty of Design. The second stream of the course starts on April 24.

The programme includes 12 classes each lasting 3 hours. This time is enough to master Photoshop and Illustrator and to collect a portfolio of 9 projects.

During the training, each student will develop his or her own characters, comics, patterns, stickers, logos, and commercial illustrations.

“Professions related to digital graphics are becoming increasingly relevant in Russia. Demand for such professionals will only grow in the future. Thanks to portfolios created during the course, participants will manage to get their first customers. If they want, they can also start to position themselves as illustrators on social media and YouTube. That will help them expand their audience”, says Vladimir Demyanovsky.

A portfolio review will be the concluding part of the course. Participants will show their works to professionals and get their advice on further development in digital graphics.

Enrollment for the second stream of the digital illustration course is now open.

The series of classes is appropriate for both novice and experienced artists who want to move into digital creativity.

Classes take place on Saturdays.

За время обучения каждый слушатель разработает персонажей, комиксы, паттерны, стикеры, логотипы, коммерческие иллюстрации.
