The Faculty of Law

The Faculty of Law has been training professionals in legal science since IGUMO was established in 1992. Highly qualified specialists and professors teach at our faculty, including those performing current legal practice. All branches of jurisprudence are covered by experts: attorneys for defence, prosecutors, law enforcement officials, and judges.

In the course of their studies students gain profound knowledge and develop their professional skills. Our students successfully take part in international projects organised by top institutes of Russia and arrange their own projects supervised by the teaching staff of the Faculty of Law at IGUMO. “Legal Procedure Training” that has been launched this year is one of them. This is a way to help students improve their knowledge of laws, get a clearer view of the specific nature of legal professions and master legal technologies.

The students of the Faculty of Law make a friendly team with its own traditions of co-assistance, team participation in research projects, and planning the students’ professional advancement. We guarantee a particular approach to each student and flexible innovative methods of teaching legal and other subjects. A high level of proficiency is achieved through a well-balanced combination of theory and practice in training.

Our graduates have comprehensive professional knowledge, skills necessary to solve legal cases and are engaged in a broad range of law-application activities.
