MOSCOW GOVERNMENT APPRECIATED OUR DOCA PROJECT

This summer the IGUMO team applied for a contest held by the Mayor of Moscow in the ‘Children and Youth’ nomination. Though there were many participants there, we were the ones to win a grant to realize our DOCA project. This is our next victory!

In 2019, we are going to hold DOCA, our festival of contemporary art, for the seventh time. Its main goal is to change people’s attitude towards contemporary art, teach them to feel and decode it. We achieved great results for now. Every year we have more participants and guests. The festival also got an international status.

Elizaveta Zemlyanova, dean of the Faculty of Design, manager of DOCA, Festival of Contemporary Art:
