Enrollees have many questions but the main one is: “Who will teach us?” It is not a secret that lecturers play a key role in the process of education. The quality of students’ knowledge depends on them. Beside mentioned aspects, others are important too. For example, creativity and ingenuity. The lecturers in IGUMO have all these qualities. The company party proved it once again.
This event never was boring in IGUMO because the staff always requires creativity.
For example, there was a summer brunch for employees of IGUMO this year. The motto of the event was Sound Mind in Sound Team.
The company party started with workshop by Tatiana Dyment. She suggested joining Mandala Art Therapy. Everyone was to draw pictures that psychologists use to work with people’s minds. While drawing the employees were to turn in upon themselves, think about their main achievement of the year and tell their colleagues about it.
Nobody was surprised on hearing that IGUMO’s lecturers have many achievements. Moreover, many of them were connected with spiritual formation. Therefore, the employees told that they had found harmony in their families, had found balance between work and personal life. Many shared their attainments in professional sphere. So, the deans said that graduation of students from IGUMO is their main success.
There was an arm wrestling tournament after workshop. There was a strong competitive mood in the hall. And it proved once again that there are strong and athletic people among the staff.
It was time for joint creative work after arm wrestling. The participants were asked to make up cinquain, a small unrhymed verse written by using certain rules. It consists of a word that defines the subject of cinquain, two adjectives that characterize it, three verbs typical for the chosen subject. Besides, cinquain always has an aphorism connected with theme and one noun that reflects the core of the subject. The lecturers decided to dedicate their joint rhyme to the enrollees.
All the lecturers said that they were expecting talented and ambitious students. They should come to IGUMO to study, to think and to win. The aphorism chosen by the lecturers goes like this: “teachers don’t come to students, but students come to teachers”. A noun that shows attitude towards enrollees is Personality.
Sooner the participants of summer brunch played Jenga. It is a game in which you have to construct a tower by removing bars from lower ‘floors’ and putting them to upper ones.
The brunch ended in a reception standing and presentation of brandy gifts to all participants.
