The IGUMO team took part in organising and holding the Second Summer Peace Summit: Global Women for Global Growth. The event brought together 100 influential women from 16 countries. 

This year, the Summit took place in online format. 

Marina Volynkina, Rector of IGUMO and Head of the Global Women Media news agency, and Anna Wolf, analyst at the Ifo Institute for Economic Research Munich (Germany), were the moderators of the event. 

The key topics of this year’s Summit included overcoming the consequences of the pandemic in the mass consciousness, crisis of the world system of values and senses, consequences of consumerism in society’s consciousness, and combating misinformation. The Summit paid special attention to addressing the issues of racism and hatred among people. 

In her report, Marina Volynkina, Rector of IGUMO, focused on the topic of the loss of values. According to her, women leaders can introduce the principles of creation and love in all spheres of life.

Ms. Volynkina gave a special focus to improving the educational system directly influencing the formation of values and guidelines of today’s society. 

Other Summit speakers presenting their reports included Gülden Türktan (Turkey), the Founder and the First President of Women 20, Joynicole Martinez (USA), Director of Research & Development at World Women Foundation, Caroline Codsi (Canada), President of Women in Governance, Tatiana Markova (Israel), Co-founder of the Online Academy of English, Carol Kinsey Goman (USA), expert in non-verbal communication and leadership presence, Miriam Leitner and Theresia Romberg-Frede (Germany), co-founders of the Different the Same project dedicated to Chinese women, and Vanda Gagiano (RSA), Honorary President of Free State Women Agricultural Union. 

The speakers not only outlined the key problems faced by the modern world but also proposed specific ways to solve them. 

The participants expressed their gratitude to the administration of the Institute for the Humanities and Information Technologies (IGUMO) for organising the broadcast of the Summit. They also thanked the IGUMO team for preparing the event’s website. 

All faculties of IGUMO including the Faculties of Linguistics, Design, Photography, and Advertising and PR took the responsibility for holding the Summit. 

The IGUMO team carried out a lot of work on coordination with the Summer Peace Summit participants from 16 countries. It prepared a website in Russian and English and worked out and fulfilled a campaign to promote the event on social media.

Students of the Faculty of Advertising and PR launched ads on social networks. As a result, 93000 unique visitors were aware of the event. 

The technical service of the Institute organised online broadcast of the Summit, which was held at the highest level. All participants of the international event thanked the IGUMO team.

The IGUMO Media Group prepared photo materials for the news articles about the event. It currently works on the video report. 

It is a great responsibility and a great honour for the IGUMO team to be involved in that large-scale international event and the ideas declared at it.

Ключевыми темами мероприятия стали преодоление последствий пандемии в массовом сознании, кризис мировой системы ценностей и смыслов, последствия потребительского самосознания для общества, ложь и фальсификация. Особое внимание было уделено вопросам расизма и ненависти между людьми.

Ректор ИГУМО Марина Владимировна Волынкина в своем докладе актуализировала тему утраты ценностей. Она отметила, что женщины-лидеры способны привнести принципы созидания и любви во все сферы жизни.

Отдельное внимание Марина Владимировна уделила совершенствованию системы образования, которая напрямую влияет на формирование принципов и ценностей современного общества.

С докладами также выступили основатель и председатель «Женской двадцатки» Гюльден Тюрктан (Турция), директор по исследованиям и развитию «World Women Foundation» Джойниколь Мартинез (США), глава организации «Женщины в органах управления» Каролина Кодси (Канада), соучредитель Онлайн-академии английского языка Татьяна Маркова (Израиль), эксперт в области невербального общения, тренер по лидерскому присутствию Кэрол Кинси Гоман (США), соучредители проекта «Different The Same» о женщинах Китая Мириам Ляйтнер и Терезия Ромберг-Фреде (Германия), почетный президент Аграрного союза женщин провинции Фри-Стэйт Ванда Гаджиано (ЮАР).

Спикеры не только обозначили ключевые проблемы современного мира, но и предложили конкретные пути их решения.

Участницы события выразили благодарность руководству ИГУМО за организацию трансляции саммита, а также признательность команде института за подготовку площадки мероприятия.

Ответственность за подготовку и проведение саммита взяли на себя все факультеты ИГУМО: иностранных языков, дизайна, фотографии, рекламы и PR. Была проведена огромная работа по координации с участницами Summer Peace Summit из 16 стран мира, подготовлен сайт на русском и английском языках, разработана и реализована кампания по продвижению мероприятия в социальных сетях.

Студенты факультета рекламы и PR запустили рекламные объявления в соцсетях. О событии узнали 93 000 уникальных посетителей.

Техническая служба института организовала онлайн-трансляцию международного саммита. Он прошел на самом высоком уровне. Команду ИГУМО поблагодарили все участницы события.

Медиагруппа ИГУМО подготовила фотоматериалы для оформления новостных сообщений о событии, сейчас ведется работа по созданию видеоролика.

Сопричастность к масштабному международному саммиту и к идеям, которые были на нем продекларированы, – большая ответственность и огромная честь для команды ИГУМО.
