IGUMO is a new step in education. This is the institute of tomorrow aimed at constant development and innovations. New methods in the learning process, practically oriented approach, participation of students in large-scale projects, acquaintance with the chosen profession from the first days of training, involvement in volunteering. All these things are components of a modern innovative quality education. Studying at IGUMO lets students revel their talents and their intellectual and creative potential. This institute contributes to spiritual and moral guidance of the young generation.

By graduation from IGUMO, the students have a huge store of knowledge and skills. They become highly qualified employees and are easily recruited to work thanks to their skills and portfolio.

Since their first years in IGUMO, our students do practical training in the institute’s large-scale projects. They can join the news agency of the Eurasian Women’s Community, Global Talents web site, student business incubator called Actual Communications Agency, annual art festival Days of Contemporary Art and internet group KULTPROSVET.

Through participation in these projects, the students develop professional skills, gain valuable experience, and increase their moral and spiritual qualities.

From December 2016 to September 2017, Global Talents was holding a project called Patrium aimed at the patriotic education of the young generation. Students of IGUMO took active part in its organization.

On September 1, there was the final stage of this project. The winners of Global Talents contests took part in the concert in the framework of International Military Music Festival ‘Spasskaya Tower’. This event was a good opportunity to show their talents once again. Yekaterina Kudryavtseva and Viktoria Kirillova, graduates of the Faculty of Journalism, were those who organized and led it. 

Participation in such large-scale projects is a clear example of how IGUMO students in practice acquire valuable knowledge and experience. Thus, they become not only highly qualified specialists, but also good people.
