STUDENTS UNDERTOOK INTERNSHIP IN MOSCOW AND CRIMEA

This summer, many students successfully passed exams and dived into their holidays. However, our students from the Linguistics College love working: after two years of studying at the MKIK, they undertook their practice in children’s camps.

Thus, this cold autumn, Anna Muliyukina, our third-year student from the Linguistics College, enjoys warm memories about her internship. She has a positive attitude towards her studies this year and enjoys new subjects, such as Russian with teaching techniques and basics of managing off-hour work and communication between elementary school students.

‘During our camping we lived in a forest, explored nature, ate buckwheat, and sand songs by the fire. This year we had an English-speaking man with us, so we taught English together. We studied words and had a lot of fun.’

Anna’s coursemates, Alexandra Oleksenko and Lilya Ivanova spent summer internship in the Crimea. They combined resting nearby the sea and beloved job and got plenty of positive emotions as a result. They said that there were 45 children under their guidance but it didn’t become a problem. All of them very active, friendly, and talkative. Even the noisiest nuisances managed to keep calm and help when they could.

‘It was very hard to part and return to Moscow after spending a month with them. We wanted to bring them there too and show them our capital because some of them thought that we had a sea here. All in all, we enjoyed our internship.’

The third-year students await two upcoming internships. Undoubtedly, they will bring even more fun! The whole group is full of enthusiasm and wish to pass the exams and gain as much knowledge as possible. Who knows, maybe they will meet one another again in this entertaining world of summer camps!
