There is no secret in the fact that Global Talents, which unite most talented Russian children for more than 2 years, is the key project of our institute. Our students are developing it. For example, the students of the Faculty of Internet-Management built the site themselves. Our psychologists-to-be are responsible for creating friendly atmosphere for children to communicate. Journalists create content for the website. And our designers decorate Global Talents. Together we created a platform for children to fulfil themselves. Now they can tell the whole country about their talents. It is of great pleasure for us, for example, that those gifted children call moderator and head of Global Talents press Ekaterina Kudryavtseva their second mother.
Mainly we get the large amount of feedback from children and their parents during our press conferences and awarding ceremonies.
Last year we decided to gather the most active users in the Patrium summer school hosted by IGUMO. 56 most gifted children from 34 regions of Russia gathered in our institute. They all got the opportunity of visiting Moscow, proving themselves and meeting young intellectuals on the same level. Many of our lecturers and professors helped children meet the important targets. Firstly, children divided into three teams. Each team had their own tasks. Thus, in two days children created the Young Patriot Codex, developed the Strategy of Russian Economic Development 2030 and designed several Russia day symbols. All of that was presented to the Federal Council senator Liliya Gumerova who highly appreciated the assignments. Children even got a chance to do it themselves! Mrs Gumerova highlighted the quality of the assignments and promised to use them throughout her numerous presentations across the country.
Many of our students accompanied talented schoolchildren while visiting historical places of Moscow and the Federal Council. We vastly communicated with children; our students provided the information support of Patrium summer school and helped them to design their assignments graphically.
The creative atmosphere united us all.
It is also wonderful that our students get the chance to fulfil themselves in such productive projects.
When Patrium summer school was active, many parents expressed their gratitude to us and our project. Some of them claimed that we don’t even realise the importance of our work for children. However, children were the most grateful of all. That is how we know that our work is not for nothing.
