Students of the IGUMO stepped in the Federation Council halls once more to witness the businesswomen from all parts of Russia discuss pressing issues of the Russian business. Valentina Matvienko and her deputy, Galina Karelova, chaired the meeting.

The main topics of discussion were:

1.     Ways of development for women business

2.     Barriers and problems in the sphere of women business

3.     State programs encouraging small and medium business

Different entrepreneurs face same problems merchandising, high interest rates and lack of experience.

Big business grows up from a small one and when it is still young and vulnerable, it needs help. OPORA RUSSIA and EURASIAN WOMEN'S COMMUNITY are those that can provide it.

At this moment only 27% of entrepreneurs are women. The women potential is to be put into action. More people involved into the national economy will bring more money and produce new jobs for the Russian citizens.

Valentina Matvienko said that it might be of great use to run a TV program that will cover the news of small and medium business. Many women have various start-ups with significant role in local and even federal economy and with a little help they will achieve great success.

After the meeting, we have a charge to start our own business! Still, we have plenty things to do in the IGUMO so we will just try to cover the further events in the sphere of women business and try our best to make the world better.
