The Faculty of Management at IGUMO dates from 1992.

We train qualified personnel to work for governmental and municipal authorities and organizations of different levels: district municipalities, district councils, prefectures, and also in nonprofit organizations cooperating with governmental structures, in commercial and other enterprises.

The faculty trains students in the following areas:

081100 State and Municipal Management (qualification - bachelor);

080400 Human Resources Management (qualification - bachelor);

080200 Management (qualification - bachelor);

Forms of education: full-time, part-time.

The faculty also provides second university education.

Educational activities of the faculty are organized according to modern trends in the sphere of management, Russian and foreign experience of human resources management.

The faculty of management has a regular program of practical training that enables immediate application of students’ knowledge in such projects as “Training Office”, “Student Recruitment Agency” and “Marketing Laboratory”. Participation in these projects provides the basis for the graduation projects of these students. Modern forms of education are implemented, among them business games, case-study programs, master classes.

Students of the Faculty of Management participate in the practical seminars and roundtable discussions. In their reports and presentations students apply the results of their own research on problems of management, suggest management solutions they developed and test schedules of personnel management methods.

Graduates of the faculty have fundamental knowledge on the socio-economic, management, legal and psychological disciplines.
