ïîäïèñàòüñÿResearch papers of students from MKIK will be included in the collection of the scientific papers as a result of the student conference titled Youth in a Changing World. The Vilnius University of Applied Sciences is an organiser of the event. The collection will be published in English at the end of 2020 in Vilnius (Lithuania).
Requirements for student publications in domestic and foreign scientific communities are different. In foreign publications, they pay a lot of attention to availability of relevant research with specific results and an ability to formulate conclusions.
Students of MKIK paid attention to these requirements. That’s why their reports were included in the programme of the Youth in a Changing World scientific conference.
As emphasized by Irina Belogortseva, Deputy Rector for Learning and Teaching, students’ materials have gone through strict recension, which means expert review by scientists. After that, the works were admitted to the publication.
The following research papers will be published in the collection:
Feature Films as a Way of Learning English by Elizaveta Merkulenkova, student of the Linguistics College of MKIK (research advisor: Oksana Kurenya, PhD in Philology);

On December 15, MKIK is going to host international scientific conference called Eco-Friendly Habits: Guarantee of Sustainable Development. Our colleagues from Belgium are going to participate in the event. Students and their research advisors are preparing research presentations under the theme of the conference.
